Buzy day today I firstly went to the fabulous Frey Willy store in Stockholm and saw some truly amazing pieces! I need a few bangles! The history behind the brand is very exciting and also the artists behind the creations, some inspired by the Claude Monet Foundation. The NYC store just opened in my block!
Then off to the south of Stockholm. Stopped by Vetekatten bakery for some real “skorpor” hard to find….

Then a great creative meeting with Agnes she is so organized and together and super sense of fashion!
I continued to stop by Lindex, where I saw some nice jewelry and then off to HM, where I saw some fun metallic sweathers
Finally I went by Patriksson PR firm to see Rizzo and Don Donnas fall shoes, like the disco diva ones!

Tonight I was invited to speak to a group of investors with the Penser Bank. They had asked me to speak about my interest in shoes and collecting shoes…and in my case mostly Manolo Blahniks…..so I spoke about how my interest started at the island of Capri, with the local sandalmakers on the way to Axel Munthes Villa San Michele in Anacapri, where I spent my summers with my parents, but I also showed three pairs of handpainted Converse by Rafael Colon Brolic design. Jonas Wiehager spoke about his sneaker passion and then three other speakers about their passionate collection interest. I was very inpressed by meeting Erik Penser himself and Salvatore Grimaldi, both very sucessful swedish businessmen! Salvatore Grimaldi, owns Bianchi and has a passion for bicycles and my father Einar Jolins art I hear. Bianchi Cafe and Cycles is a newly opened cafe on Norrlandsgatan 20 in Stockholm, best cappucinos in town I hear! Two of my old school friends from The French School of Stockholm happened to be now be working with The Penser Bank! Met some new friends, and had a nice dinner at Stockholm Waterfront facing the beautiful view of Stockholm by night!

Got Alice a pair of red suede shoes and a pair of silver sandals by Little Eric, made in Italy off course! We spent a long time in there, and the sales people are truly great and spends a long long time with you, they really want your child to have the best most comfortable shoes!

The swedish maffia was present when swedish Annelie Hofstrom launched her shoe collection for Oscar de la Renta, Annelie worked as PR for Manolo Blahnik, and before that with Anna Sui. Alexis Aubert is designing together with Annelie, she worked previously with Pierre Hardy for two years and four years with Christian Louboutin. In the goodybag a goregeous de la Renta perfume!
