Off to East Hampton for the kick off of the summer with Memorial Day Week-End! Beautiful weather, we checked in to The Maidstone, an Inn in East Hampton that I sooo many times passed by, now totally redone by new swedish owner Jenny Ljungberg, lovely and inspiring business woman, with so many ideas and she has with lots of taste and fantasy restored this landmark building, and with a swedish touch, photo art, righ now an exhibit by photographer Jacob Fellander, jazz music and with the restaurant The Livingroom The Maidstone Inn has a great selection of swedish specialties, and also she has started selling some exclusive merchendise, such as Falsterbotofflan, the clog! Then we are off for a stroll, Tiffanies, Ralph Lauren and Hermes have great stores here, and now also Baleneciaga store . Snack at classic Golden Pear, chicken curry salad, I also love their coffee cake w pecans! At night a small coctailparty for the magazine Hamptons Cottages and Gardens, where I hooked up with fashion photographer Antoine Verglas, then off to dear friends Fabio and Vittorios opening of East Hampton Restaurant Serafinas. Spent the day at the beach and lunch at Amargansett Hampton Chutney, LOVE this place, have the #5 indian crepe w cilantro salsa with a fresh wataermelon juice! Bumped into swedish NYC gallerist Stellan Holms wife Marianne and son munching on one dosa too….got some coco dusted pecans for the road….Stopped by an antique fair in Amargansett, where you could do bargains on Manolo Blahniks, french kitchren wear from thw 1930-ies and Katja of Sweden fashion and much more….. Dinner at our dear friends house in Sagaponack! Off to Wainscott and The Seafood Shop for a Lobster Roll and a mango and grapefruit soda delicious!!!!! Coffee and chocolate icecream at Sant Ambroeus in South Hampton and I bought a cashmere throw, pink w a giraffe at Hatchlings they also sell my girlfriends glass rings TRE-NYC.
